Madhuri to prove a point
By Behindwoods News Bureau.
December 13, 2007
Dancing diva, Bollywood’s queen bee, returned to movies with a bang in the musical Aaja Nachle. Though the movie ended up as a damp squib at the box office, the piffling business it did was solely due to the presence of one of Bollywood’s hottest and most charismatic stars ever.
Madhuri Dixit

If there is one heroine in Indian cinema, at least in the recent times, able to carry a movie on her shoulders alone it has to be Madhuri Dixit. With her latest release almost biting the dust in spite of the audience loving her performance in it, critics are out with their speculations that Madhuri might call it a day.

Hey wait! It is not for nothing that she is called a star; she is here to stay and prove a point, for the actress has given her consent to act in Inder Kumar’s movie. It is worthy of mention here that her partnership with Inder Kumar has resulted in successful films like 'Dil', 'Beta' and 'Raja'. This movie also marks the launch of Inder Kumar’s daughter Shweta – another star kid that hits the screens. No wonder they say Bollywood is one big filmy family.
