Perarasu was the director of the megahit Tiruppachchi starring Vijay. Riding the crest of popularity, he has decided to work again with Vijay in his next film titled Sivakasi. While the hunt was on for the female lead, it is now confirmed that Mallika Sherawat has landed the role. It surely is the season of Mumbai bombshells in Kollywood. We have Bipasha Basu in Sachin and now Mallika and God knows who next. Like in Tiruppachchi, Perarasu has penned the lyrics in Sivakasi and he also has plans to compose the music for the film.
