Muralikrishna directed Parvai ondre podhume, a few years ago, with Kunal and (late) Monal in the lead. Music was by Bharani. The film did reasonably well but the director was not literally flooded with offers. So, he played the waiting game. Now, he has the opportunity to do a meaty assignment and he has plunged headlong into the work. The hero of the film will be Rohan, Shireen’s ex-beau. As is the trend in Kollywood now, one ‘item’ song has Mumbai bimbo, Brinda Parekh.
