A.M. Rathnam has the reputation of being a big-spending producer. He has given a platform for several well-known directors. His sons, however, have not hade such stupendous success. His elder son, Jothi Krishna directed Unakku 20 Enakku 18 and younger son, Ravi Krishna debuted as hero in 7/G, Rainbow Colony. Both the siblings did not exactly set the box office ringing. Ravi’s other movie Sukran was so controversial that it failed to enthuse the audience. Now, papa Ratnam has decided to back up for the sons by producing a movie to be directed by Jothi and with Ravi in the lead. The film is titled Kallan and it will be simultaneously produced in Tamil and Telugu. There will be two new faces as heroines.
