The Departed – Mahesh Babu (Leo Di Caprio), Vijay (Matt Damon) & Madhavan (Mark Whalberg) & Mammooty (Jack Nicholson) – Gautham Menon

GVM had shown interest to direct both Vijay and Mahesh Babu and we would like to see him take up a subject like this. As for the heroes, both Vijay and Mahesh Babu have played undercover cops in the past so this wouldn’t be entirely new to them. Madhavan has shown that he’s not always bound to playing the sweet guy and he could definitely do well as the foul mouthed bossy Mark Whalberg and someone with a towering presence, like Mammooty in Thalapathy, could do Jack Nicholson’s role. The ending obviously could be considered for a revision.
