Hari and Suriya were back together to create more box-office frenzy after their earlier outing in the first part of Singam in 2010. People were swept by the pace in the movie and importantly Suriya's fiery and inimitable performance as Duraisingam, the super cop. Singam 2 was an all-center hit and among Suriya's biggest.
