Based on a Gujarati play titled "Kanji Virrudh Kanji" written by Bhavesh Mandalia, Oh My God raised a lot of relevant issues and questions related to God, superstitions, Godmen, idol worship and the likes. Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar complimented each other perfectly while Mithun Chakraborty showed guts in playing an effeminate Godman. Kudos to producer Akshay for taking the path less trodden and delivering a quality product that is relevant to the society at large. The huge success at the box-office was a fitting reward to the OMG team.
