Polladhavan was Vetri Maaran’s first film and it was spot light galore for this intelligent and passionate film maker with his second film Aadukalam that gave the Tamil film industry six national awards and 5 filmfare awards. Vetri Maaran showed that when films are made that are close to the roots, they are bound to be successful. Currently he is working as a dialogue writer in Prithvi Rajkumar’s Naan Raajavaga Pogiren and is also involved creatively and financially with his associate Manigandan’s upcoming project.
