Ajith's Arrambam is second only to Rajini's Enthiran

The theatrical rights of Ajith's Arrambam for the Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Ooty and Erode areas have gone for a record price. Cosmo Pictures has purchased the rights from producer A.M.Rathnam for a whopping amount, which is the highest in Ajith's career so far.

When speaking to our Behindwoods Correspondent, Cosmo Pictures' Shiva said that the Arrambam figure beats the figure paid for other recent biggies such as Thalaivaa and Singam 2. Only Superstar's Enthiran is ahead in terms of pre-release sale in these four areas.

Meanwhile, the release date of the movie is still not clear and an official word from the producers is eagerly awaited.
