It was a long wait for many SaNa fans as he tweeted that a single from “jagame thandhiram” would be released on Dhanush’s birthday. Finally as the day drew to a close, the track was released and it has immediately become a super hit. Belonging to the “kutthu pattu” genre this track is simply irresistible with its percussions and trumpets and super-high tempo. Dhanush and Santhosh sing the male bits with Dhee on the female lead and the singing is excellent overall considering the scales move around a lot. Its tailor-made for a fun outing and Vivek once again writes lyrics like “Enakku raja va naan valuren, ethuvum illenalum aaluren” and just makes it fun. Even the screaming to remind us of Michael Jackson is excellently used. Joseph Vijay is on the guitars and Naveen simply is fabulous on the bass right through. Viji on the trumpet is probably the stand-out winner.
