Actor Vikram’s next action comedy film directed by Vijay Chander is Sketch and is supposed to deal with car hacking as its premise. It has Tamannaah as the heroine and music by Thaman SS. We had reported that Sketch will not release anytime during Diwali 2017 and is said to be postponed to a later date.
Sketch's post production work (Editing and DI) is supposed to be going on at the moment. Close sources reveal that 6 days of shoot that include a murder scene and patch work is still left to be shot. However, actor Vikram’s portions are said to be over completely.

Initially, there were numerous rumors that Vikram's Sketch will be releasing for Diwali 2017. The team had also released a single from the album a few months back for Vikram's birthday. It was expected that Vijay's Mersal would be clashing with this film.
We contacted Vijay Chander, the director of Sketch to find out more details about the audio release as well as the film's release. To clarify our queries, he said, "We are currently making plans for the audio release, but we will not be releasing the film for Diwali for sure.'', making it clear that the film will not clash with Mersal.
With the option of Diwali release ruled out for the team, will they eye another festival release and go for the Christmas weekend? Let us wait for more details!
