The first promo of Mersal is out. Under just 20 seconds, it has the massy Vijay in his ‘Murukku Meesai’ getup which is touted to be from the flashback.

The highlight of this Mersal promo #1 is the punch dialogue “ Oru Kozhandha Uruvaagardhukku 10 maasam, Oru Pattadhaari Uruvaagardhuku 3 Varsham, Aana Oru Thalaivan Uruvaagardhuku Oru Yugamae Theva Padudhu!”. It is definitely a goosebumps moment for a Vijay fan. The promo has some action filled shots and also has a woman carrying a baby amidst a crowd.

The teaser also has a lot of slow motion (48 and 96 frame) shots that portray the Aalaporaan Tamizhan song in the backdrop with Vijay jumping from a height with 2 horses on both of his sides.
