'MASTER TRAILER, THALAIVAR 169 STORY, VIJAY'S STATEMENT DIALOGUES'- RATHNA KUMAR REVEALS

Behindwoods caught up with the filmmaker about Master and his experience working in the multi-starrer. Rathna Kumar said that he was in awe with Vijay's performance, "I saw his (Vijay's) performance during the Delhi shoot. The thing is, we develop certain scenes at the writing table as conversations, but when Vijay sir delivers them, it becomes a statement, as if he's addresing an issue."

Regarding the release of the film's trailer, Rathna quipped, "Usually, trailers are released by keeping the film's release date in mind. In this situation, where the film's release date is uncertain, the trailer's immediate release won't do justice to the film. We will release the trailer only with a clear picture of the release date on mind."

After Master, Lokesh Kanagaraj will reportedly be working with Rajinikanth for a project, which is set to be produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International. About the project, he said, "Only Lokesh has to reveal further details regarding the project. But  I can say that Lokesh starting working way back on the story and Lokesh is very passionate about it. He told me that he will be using the lockdown time to work on it."
