Anirudh’s entry on stage happened with him singing Kutty story. He also called for the audience to sing along with him. Anirudh: “It was me who used to speak in the base voice, now we have Arjun too. Master album started with Kutty story. Vijay sir sang it well. So how will it be if I sing? Let’s see!” And Anirudh starts singing Kutty story! Oh wow!

He gets a huge response from the audience and everyone from the audience, including Malavika Mohanan. After the song, Anirudh thanked everyone, the producers, Sony Music. He mentioned, “Wikki (Vignesh Shivan) always gave me the best lyrics. Similarly Arunraja Kamaraj has also given us awesome lyrics. Kakabala’s lyrics- I couldn’t even understand some words. Also, I thank my musicians.”

Anirudh smilingly conveys this to Vijay Sethupathi - “Vijay Sethupathi sir, we are coming together after Naanum Rowdy thaan. Be sure that I will have some awesome theme music for you.” He also thanked Andrea and Malavika for being a part of the movie.

About Lokesh, Anirudh says, “Lokesh is a very chilled out person. He hasn’t been in the habit of shooting after the composition of songs. This is the first time - a total of 12 songs. He has done it well. “

About Vijay, Anirudh shares that they will be combining again after 6/7 years, after Kaththi. “Kaththi was not my first movie but it served as my big break, it’s very special for me. Vijay anna is a very caring person. Every film is a milestone for the actor, but this will be a big milestone. Yeah it’s selfish I know, yet...  Two songs jave been sung by Yuvan and Santhosh Narayanan. We asked them and they immediately agreed when we said that it would be nice if they sang it.”

'Master' is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Master is shot by Sathyan Sooryan while Philomin Raj handles the editing department. Anirudh Ravichander will be composing music for the film and the highly anticipated project is expected to release by April 9th 2020.

The cast of the movie includes Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, VJ Ramya Subramanian, Andrea Jeremiah, Gouri G Kishan, TikTok fame Lintu Rony, actress Kalyani Natarajan, Arjun Das, Dheena, Lallu, Nagendra Prasad, Srinath, Sanjeev amongst others.
