DMDK leader Vijayakant was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai at around 3 am today. Many fans began to question what was wrong with Vijaykant's health. DMDK’s official statement said that Captain was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai for routine medical treatment and doctors said his condition was stable and he would return home from the hospital in a couple of days. It was also said to not spread vain rumors about his health and not to be afraid.

Vijayakant tests negative for covid treated for kidney infection

Vijayakanth was made to undergo a corona test as well, which has come back negative, much to the relief of his fans and family. It has also been revealed that Captain is being treated for kidney-related infections. DMDK which allied with AMMK in the recent state assembly elections drew a blank.
