HERE IS AN OFFICIAL UPDATE ON VIJAYAKANTH'S CURRENT HEALTH STATUS AFTER BEING ADMITTED IN THE HOSPITAL - DETAILS

He had also served as a Member of Legislative Assembly twice representing the constituency of Virudhacalam & Rishivandiyam respectively.
According to reports, Captain Vijayakanth has been hospitalized at 3 AM on Wednesday, here at Chennai in MIOT Hospitals, because of sudden shortness of breath. Treatments are underway, and now here the latest official update on his health status, as detailed in a statement from the DMDK party.
In the statement, it has been mentioned that Vijayakanth has indeed been hospitalized, but his health status is now stable, and is expected to return home in a few days post proper treatment. People have been requested not to believe any rumors regarding Vijayakanth's health.
