Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsDirector Venkat Prabhu, who has directed many blockbuster films including Chennai 28 and Mankatha, is currently engaged with his biggie Maanaadu that features STR and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead.
The upcoming film is currently in the post-production stage and is nearing completion. Apart from the leads, the film also features SA Chandrasekhar, SJ Sruyah, Premgi amongst others in prominent roles and will feature music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
On the technical front, the film’s cuts will be handled by Praveen KL. Now, Venkat Prabhu has taken to his Twitter handle and tweeted, “We started our careers together! And still strong together!! So proud and happy to announce #maanaadu is @Cinemainmygenes‘s 100th film!! #Chennai600028 was his 1st #Mass was his 50th. And now #maanaadu is his 100th! Looking forward for more collaborations! God bless #pkl100"
Apart from the above-mentioned landmark movies with Venkat Prabhu, Praveen is also known for his works like Aaranya Kaandam, Kanthaswamy, Mankatha, Kaaviya Thalaivan, Madras, Kabali, Maharshi, Bairavaa, Thozha to name a few.
