The multifaceted Venkat Prabhu will be next seen directing the talk-of-the-town movie, Maanaadu, which will star Simbu and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead. Produced by Suresh Kamatchi under the banner V House Productions, the actor was said to be undergoing rigorous training in London for it.

Meanwhile, his much-delayed film, RK Nagar starring Vaibhav, Inigo Prabhakaran and Sana Althaf, Anjena Kirti in the lead roles, while Sampath Raj will be seen in a supporting role has an interesting update.

The upcoming political comedy film which was earlier supposed to release on April 12, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu, was pushed due to unavoidable reasons. And now, the interesting update is that the makers are said to have decided the date. The film has cleared all the problems around the release and have planned for a June 7th release. However, an official announcement is awaited.

Produced by Badri Kasthuri and Venkat Prabhu under Shraddha Entertainment and Black Ticket Company, the film is helmed by Vadacurry fame Saravana Rajan. While the music will be composed by Premgi Amaren and cinematography by Gopi Amarnath, the film’s cuts will be handled by Praveen KL.
