"A STAR OF HIS STATURE HAS SPOKEN..."- BIGIL SINGER ON THALAPATHY VIJAY'S SPEECH

When asked about her reaction to Vijay's speech during the audio launch of Bigil, Madhura Dhara Talluri admitted that she hasn't listened to the speech during the show since she had left early "(I heard that) he spoke about the person (Subashri). I was really impressed that he came out and spoke about it, and he knows the kind of effect it has on his fans. I am glad that a star of his stature spoke about it."

She said that during her limited interation with Atlee, she said that he complimented her for the song's rendition. When asked about the chemistry between Vijay and Nayanthara in the film, she said "I had only seen the photo from the song. I wanted to see the final video of the song. The pictures looked very inviting."

Madhura opened up that she received help from the lyricist Vivek in order to get the mature emotions conveyed by the song "After many takes to get the required emotion, the song's meaning sunk in." She added "After explaining the lyrics, i felt I could reciprocate it."

Writte and directed by Atlee, Bigil is produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under the banner AGS Entertainment. The film is slated to release on Diwali 2019 and is currently gearing up for censors. The film's teaser is expected to release on the first week of October.
