Ponniyin Selvan

Based on Kalki's famous novel "Ponniyin Selvan", Mani Ratnam is directing one of India's much-awaited epic movies. Co-produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies, the film is made up of two parts. The first installment of "Ponniyin Selvan-1" will be released on September 30, 2022.

Storyline

Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Sarath Kumar, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha and Jayaram among others. He has been creating tremendously in two parts. Composed by AR Rahman, the film has Ravi Varman as cinematographer. Jayamohan writes verses for the screen version of Kalki's novel Ponniyin Selvan, to set the stage for the grandiose Thota Tharani. Brinda has choreographed for the songs that are written by Ilango Krishnan.
