TUBELIGHT: AN INNOVATIVE CONCEPT MADE INTO A COMMERCIAL MOVIE!

Tubelight, is a Tamil movie directed by Indra that stars Indra himself in the lead role and Adithi playing the female lead. The movie that has released recently, has a nice idea forming the base or the crux. The first half of this movie has a lot of elements that include thrilling moments, comedy and romance. It gets quite an engaging finish and the newcomers Indra and Adithi are apt as far as casting is concerned.

Another positive for the film Tubelight is the presence of actor Pandiyarajan in a major role. He plays the role of a doctor and is pretty funny with his one liners and mannerisms. The second half has its moments and if not for a couple of songs, certain commercial compromises, and a slightly predictable climax, Tubelight provides a different watching experience. The concept adopted by Indra is unique and though it touches upon a medical condition, it has been narrated in a light and funny way that entertains. On the whole, a fresh team with a nice idea made into a promising movie which could have had a slightly better second half.
