Yesterday, the Income Tax officials had met actor Vijay personally at his Master shooting in Neyveli to issue a summon which is said to be in relation to the IT Raids at the properties of AGS Entertainment, who were the actor's producer for his previous film 'Bigil'. Since the shoot was halted temporarily, the actor had returned to Chennai promptly.
Reportedly, the properties and offices of 'Bigil' Producers 'AGS Entertainment' were raided yesterday and the details of the raid are yet to out officially.
The latest update on this inquiry is that four IT officials including one lady officer have arrived at Vijay's residence at Panaiyur, ECR. While these proceedings seem to be just a formal enquiry, fans of the actor have poured in their support for him on every popular social media network.
Coincidently, popular financier and producer Anbu Chezhiyan's office was raided by the IT department yesterday. Further updates on the on-going procedures are expected to be known soon officially. Stay tuned!
