Tamilrockers clarifies on the fake Twitter post

We had reported earlier that, the TFPC had suspended ad campaigns for the website Tamilrockers in order to battle piracy that is a menace to films. Also, there was a Twitter post that had Tamilrockers replying to TFPC’s move saying ‘Nothing comes free’ and it also had the Twitter user asking for the audience to fund their work.

However, the latest is the clarification from the Tamilrockers’ website admin. Following the Twitter posts and replies, reports suggest that Tamilrockers have clarified by saying, “We are not available on Twitter or any other social networks. If someone posts anything using our name on social networks, then that should be fake. Please don't believe those kind of id's and rumours spread by them.”

“WE WILL CHASE YOU OUT SOON TAMILROCKERS!”

It is a known fact that piracy is a big threat to films across the globe and the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) has been taking stringent measures to eradicate piracy. The latest update is that, TFPC has suspended ad campaigns for the famous website Tamilrockers. Tweeting about the same, TFPC’s post read, “We will chase you out soon @tamilrockers_tv #TFPC”.

To this, Tamilrockers replied with, “Tamil film producer council has suspended all our Ad campaigns, We need donations to run the show, DM us your willingness, we will share our Paypal account. Nothing is free in this world #Tamilrockers #firstdayfirstshow”. And TFPC struck back with a funny Tweet saying, “Ennagalluku vandha mattum thakkali chutney ah? Enna pechu?”.
