Based on John Green's 2012 novel The Fault in Our Stars, movie Dil Bechara marks the last film of its lead actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who died on 14 June 2020 before its release, shortly after the shoot of the movie was completed. The adaptation has been done by Shashank Kaitan and Suprotim Sengupta.
The movie is all set to have a direct OTT release today, on Disney+ Hotstar, and fans of the beloved star can't contain their excitement. Actress Rhea Chakraborty, girlfriend of Sushant, has shared a heartbroken statement prior to the movie's release.
The actress stated, "It will take every ounce of strength in me to watch you 💔 You are here with me , I know you are .... I will celebrate you and your love, The Hero of my life .. I know you will be watching this with us ❤️."
