Sushant was found dead at his Mumbai home on Sunday afternoon. The police said that it was a case of death by suicide. His family arrived in Mumbai from Patna on Sunday night for his last rites. Relatives have mentioned that Sushant was not one to commit suicide, and details of the investigation in any angle as of such has not been obtained yet.
Many stars have shared their condolence messages. The star’s persona and infectious smile had smitten people. Actress Akshara Haasan, in an instagram handle, had said, “So shaken since I've heard the news of @sushantsinghrajput yesterday. Been trying my best to come up with the words to describe the loss we have faced. He seemed to be such a kind person, an talented actor, hard working, honest, adventurous, and much more. May you find the best kind of peace."
