He says, "Why didn’t he ever tell us that he was depressed? He did, when he started seeing a therapist, when he stopped going out, when he stopped feeling hungry, when he started taking pills to sleep, when he started crying all the time. He told you, you didn’t listen."

"Depression isn’t quiet, it’s loud. It’s loud enough if you want to hear it. The person who is suffering isn’t being a victim, he is unable to feel that he will ever be happy again. He has lost hope. He isn’t sad or angry, he is dead on the inside."

"When a depressed person says he doesn’t want to wake up because sleeping feels better. It’s sad and not something that should be held against him.

Keep a check on your people ! Everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about

Be kind! Have empathy."
