Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsActor Suriya is currently awaiting the release of his next movie ‘Soorarai Pottru’, which is directed by Sudha Kongara of ‘Irudhi Suttru’ fame. The makers have now decided to opt in for a direct Digital release of the movie, in the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.
Suriya took to Twitter to share this big news with all his followers, through his Twitter handle. He posted a long message, stating that he would love to watch the movie with his fans in theatres, but due to the current situation, he has taken the call to release the movie on Amazon Prime Video.
The movie is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video on the 30th of October and will be streaming in multiple languages that include Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
Suriya stated that he will donate 5 crore rupees from the proceeds of Soorarai Pottru to the needy. He also stated that he will be definitely acting in other movies which his fans can enjoy at the theatres.
