Recently, the song ‘Kaattu Payale’ from ‘Soorarai Pottru’ was released, on the occasion of Suriya’s birthday. It received a splendid response from the audience and has garnered over 70 Lakh views on YouTube.

G.V.Prakash, music director of the movie shared this happy note with his followers. He posted a Tweet that read “Thanks for the 7 million love #KaattuPayale!”. The song has also been listed in YouTube’s Top 100 songs in India. GVP posted another Tweet that read “#KaattuPayale in top 100 songs India on YouTube ... thank u”

Reacting to this, Suriya posted an appreciation Tweet for GV Prakash, praising him and his contribution in the music department of ‘Soorarai Pottru’. Suriya’s tweet read “Totally inspired by the way you reinvent yourself every time, thank u for making #SooraraiPottru more spl @gvprakash #KaattuPayale”

‘Soorarai Pottru’ also stars Aparna Balamurali,  Dr.M Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, Karunas, Vivek Prasanna, Krishna Kumar and Kaali Venkat. The movie has music by GVP and cinematography by Niketh Bommi. An official update on the release date of the movie is awaited.
