Shankar's 2.0 is a Sci-Fi film starring Superstar Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson in the lead roles and Akshay Kumar as the antagonist, who received lots of appreciation for his convincing acting of the character Pakshi Rajan. The film was bankrolled by Lyca productions, A.R. Rahman composed for the film and Nirav Shah did the cinematography. This film was the sequel to the 2010 film Enthiran (The Robot).
2.0 is one of the biggest film of 2018 in Indian cinema. The film had a lot of visual effects and post production value and it reflected from the welcome it received from the people, especially children who had a treat with the amazing visuals and engaging sound effects throughout the film.
The film is coming back to the big screens, as it is set to released in China on July 12th in 3D and IMAX 3D. The fan following for Rajinikanth extends to China and 2.0 is expected to be releasing in a lot of theaters there. 2.0 is already one of the highest grossing films ever from Indian cinema and it's worldwide gross is expected to increase a lot more after the release in China.

The combo of thalaivar and Shankar is always a perfect entertainer and their fans would always love to see more of that. Rajinikanth is currently working on A.R. Murugadoss's Darbar which has thrilled the fans with it's first look and Shankar is also working in an exciting film, Indian 2 which has a lot of expectations from his fans.
