Comali is an upcoming film that has Jayam Ravi, Kajal Aggarwal and Samyuktha Hegde in the lead roles. It is directed by debutant Pradeep Ranganathan, and produced by Ishari K Ganesh under the banner Vels Film International. Ishari K Ganesh had last produced RJ Balaji's hit political film LKG and Prabhu Deva's recently released horror comedy Devi 2.
The makers had made a mark with the promotions, by unveiling 9 different looks of Jayam Ravi from the film. It did quite increase the expectations for the film. Soon, there were rumours afloat on the internet that the film is releasing on 28th June.
However, the director of the film, Pradeep Ranganathan took to Twitter to clarify that the film will surely not release on that day. His tweet read: "It's surely not for June 28.We have just started with our posters :D"
This look has Jayam Ravi portraying the role of a king in a palace, surrounded by a lot of maidens. Comali has music by Hiphop Tamizha, cinematography by Richard. M. Nathan and editing by Pradeep E Ragav.
