"I STARTED CRYING WHEN I HEARD THAT" - SHAHJAHAN ACTRESS RICHA PALLOD OPEN TALK!

Speaking about her first movie in Tamil, Shahjahan, "People still love it. Everyday I get tagged with posts of people recreating dance and songs. I am overwhelmed that even after more than a decade, the love that everyone gives me...", she trails off emotionally.

About her experience in dancing with Vijay in the movie, Richa tells, "I really had to struggle and work hard on those steps - matching with Vijay is not easy, we all know that. But, I am a classical dancer, so for me to adapt to another form of modern dance was challenging but it was lot of fun."

Richa Pallod still remembers her Shahjahan FDFS, and says she was taken aback by Vijay's fans. "I cannot forget the dance by the fans at the theatres. I was very nervous. I am used to watching myself at 30 second ads, how can I watch myself for 3 hours?", she fondly recalls the memory.

On her personal front, the actress is a young mother to a 5-year-old. "He's a better actor than I am. I am trying to balance between work and life. I do wanna be a doting mother, but I cannot give up on my passion. I love acting."

Richa Pallod mentioned how overwhelmed she was to see the audience reaction. "When I heard everyone standing and clapping, I started crying. I never even thought I would be doing a film, and to receive that kind of an applause for Shahjahan felt so good."
