‘Manam’ is a short-film which was recently released on Behindwoods. It is directed by Ram Mahindra, who formerly worked as an Assistant Director to Mani Ratnam. The movie received a very positive response from the audience and critics, and has garnered over 2 lakh views.

Ram Mahindra to direct a Hindi film after Manam success

After the success of this movie, director Ram Mahindra is all set to make his Bollywood directorial debut. The yet-to-be-titled movie is bankrolled by Mr.Sivakumar, Mr. Udhayakumar Sridharan, Mrs.Kamakshi HariHaran, Mr.Ram Mahindra And Mr. A.John under the banners Maayan Cinemas and Manasarovar pictures. The cast of the movie is almost finalised and will be revealed soon.

On the technical front, the movie has Cinematography by Mr.Vijay Ulaganath and music by Mr. Santosh. Mr.Saravanan is the Art director while Ms.Maya is the executive producer. The movie will be entirely shot in Hindi and is expected to go on floors once the lockdown is lifted.

Speaking about ‘Manam’ and his latest project, Ram said “I was completely overwhelmed by the response we received for Manam and it’s been pivotal and extremely motivating to get our next project rolling! We are geared and ready to film. It’s a team work and we shall present our first look of the movie soon!”. Watch this space for more updates.
