Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero, which released in December 2018. After that, there has been no solid word on his next project. There were few talks that he was to work next in 'Saare Jahan Se Accha', as also Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Sahir Ludhianvi biopic. But all of these turned out to be rumours.
Shah Rukh Khan broke silence and recently opened up during a media interaction that “I have no film with me right now. I am not working on any film. Usually what happens is when your one film is coming to an end, you begin work on your next film and I get involved within 3-4 months.
But this time I am just not feeling like...My heart doesn't allow me to..I just felt that I should rather take time out, watch films, listen to stories and read more books. Even my kids are in their college stage...my daughter is going to college and my son is about to finish his studies. So I just want to spend more time with my family.”
This announcement has worried a lot of his fans and they all wish to see him on screen as soon as possible. Even though him taking a break is heart-breaking for millions of his fans, he does deserve it for rocking the screens continuously for all these years.
