''WE DID HAVE A HORROR EXPERIENCE''

Darling-2 is scheduled to release on April 1st, 2016. Behindwoods caught up with the director of the film Sathish for a brief chat.

About the title

"When I narrated the story to Gnanavel Raja, he was delighted about the script and suggested me to christen it as Darling 2. I pointed out to him that this project is not a sequel. However, he said let's take it forward as a franchise and I agreed.

You can expect an awesome entertainer that is high on humor and drama. It is 120 minutes of total fundoo. The crew is a fun and humorous gang. They got along like fuel to fire, so work was fun and it was like taking a vacation". 

Darling was based on rape. What will Darling-2 focus on?

"Please watch the movie to understand what's between the lines. I have tried to focus on one particular cause that will be easily relatable to many. Each one of us, have a supple and sound friends gang. We hang around and make memories with them, don't we? That's what the story is all about."

So did you have any horror experience on the sets?

"Managing this crew is a horror experience in itself. All of them are naughty and notorious. They play around, pull each other's legs and tease endlessly. We did have a horror experience because of a rumor that led many people being shocked. It was fun overall."
