"YOGI BABU IS LIKE A TEDDY BEAR!"- SARANYA PONVANNAN

Actress Saranya Ponvannan is playing the role of Nayanthara's mother in the upcoming tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila. The film has Nayanthara playing the lead, and Jacqueline, Yogi Babu and others playing supporting roles. This flick is directed by Nelson and produced by Lyca Productions. 

Speaking to Behindwoods about this, she talked about Yogi Babu and his role in the film. When asked if she was able to come to terms with Yogi Babu’s romance with Nayanthara in the song Kalyaana Vayasu, she jokingly said - “I was not able to digest that, but that’s the concept of the film. Yogi Babu is like a cute teddy bear. Talk to him for a few minutes and you'll know how nice he is as a person. If you look at him, you’ll get the same feeling like that of a teddy. He is so cute. In the movie, I should not like Yogi Babu, because that’s how the story of the film pans out.”

She also added what to expect from the movie: "CoCo is a family movie. It’s about a family doing somehting. On the lines of Papanasam... Not for comparision, but Papanasam is not just about Kamal Haasan. It is a family that does everything. Similarly, Nayanthara is like Kamal in this film and our family does everything."
