WILL SANTHANAM PLAY A PSYCHO IN SELVARAGHAVAN’S NEXT?

Director Selvaraghavan is known for portraying the other side of every human being.
Especially the male characters in most of his films show traces of a mentally volatile person. Be it Kaadhal Konden or Pudhupettai, the protagonist is a normal person who is mentally driven to cross that line drawn between a normal person and not so a normal person.

Selvaraghavan has also proved his mettle with a complete commercial film. His Telugu version of Yaaradi Nee Mohini was enough proof of this. So he is capable of going both ways with his characters and film making style.

Santhanam who is a comedian turned hero is known for playing light and funny roles and has never ventured into a serious film before. Now that he has signed Selvaraghavan’s film as the lead, can we expect a break in the template? Or will Selva stick to Santhanam’s existing image of a guy next door with no shades of grey?
