SANTHANAM GOES FOR A POPULAR TITLE!

We had reported that Santhanam will be teaming up with Anegan fame Amyra Dastur for a film to be funded by Vasan Visual Ventures and directed by Manikandan of Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya fame.

The unit began the shoot this morning with the customary Pooja. The film has been titled as Odi Odi Uzhaikkanum (OOU), a famous line from MGR’s popular song. Santhanam will be playing the role of a cop in this flick which is said to be a laugh riot.

OOU will have Ghibran’s music, Gopinath’s cinematography, and Ramarao’s editing. The film will begin rolling from the first week of November and will go on for 25 days, as per a note from the production side.
