Actor Salman Khan, one of the biggest stars in the Indian film industry, is currently working in a film called Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Apart from him, it has Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Disha Patani and Shashank Arora playing crucial roles.
This is an official adaptation of the 2014 South Korean film Ode to My Father. It has music by Vishal Shekar and Marcin Laskawiec will handle the cinematography. The film is set to release on June 5, on account of Eid.
A lot of rumours were spreading that the Dabangg star will be contesting this elections. However, he took to Twitter to clarify that he is not going to enter politics. His tweet read: "Contrary to the rumours I am not contesting elections nor campaigning for any political party.."
On the work front, he was last seen in Race 3, and a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan's latest release, Zero. He is also producing a film called Notebook, directed by Nitin Kakkar, having Zaheer Iqbal as the lead.
