“WE ASKED SUPERSTAR AND HE READILY ACCEPTED TO DO IT!”

Kabali actress Sai Dhansika’s recent release Uru, directed by Vicky Anand has got her a good name for her performance. Apart from her, Kalaiyarasan plays the male lead in Uru which is a thriller film. Uru’s teaser had been released by Superstar Rajinikanth and the teaser and trailer had gathered a good response among the audiences.

In an exclusive chat with Behindwoods, Dhansika opens up about how they approached Rajinikanth and his reaction after watching the teaser. “When we asked him to release our Uru teaser, he immediately agreed to do it without any hesitation. But I have this policy of not misusing the fact that I know someone like Superstar Rajinikanth himself. But we had great belief in the film and hence approached him. His first reaction after watching the teaser was a request to play it again. He was quite impressed with the technical aspects especially the visuals and the sound. He also said that the content seemed unique and different and hence asked us to play it again. It was a very sweet gesture from Rajinikanth himself and we were very happy.”
