SAANI KAAYIDHAM DIRECTOR REVEALS ABOUT SELVARAGHAVAN AND KEERTHY SURESH'S ROLES!

Film director Arun Matheswaran, who caught everyone's attention with his first hit film Rocky, is now excited to make his world premiere on May 6 with his next film 'Saani Kaayidham' which will be released in Prime Video. Famous actress Keerthy Suresh and renowned director Selvaragavan have co-starred in this action-drama with a vengeance plot. Leaving the audiences at the edge of the seat, the film depicts the true story of a generational curse that inflicts an injustice on the protagonist and her family.

Director Arun Matheswaran says about Keerthy Suresh's versatile role in the lead role, "I was amazed by her performance in Mahanati. So I kept in mind in my mind that she would be suitable for this film. The role she plays in this film is an innovative role that she has never done before. I was confident that she would definitely fit right into this. She was my first choice because fans will love her for her innovative look. I am very happy that she accepted the role."

The director said, "Selva is a well-known director in the film industry. I thought it would be a good choice for him to take on this role."

Commenting on the context in which director Selvaraghavan was approached for Saani Kaayidham to act in the film, Arun said, “It was easy to approach Selva Sir as Siddharth (Creative Producer) was a close friend of Sir. I met him and told him the story, and he liked the story and wanted to do it. "

Commenting on his experience directing a famous director, Arun said, “I saw him as a director, will he give advice? Or are there creative differences due to differences in our views? I thought so. But he just thought of himself as an actor and me as a director and completely trusted me and falsified my unnecessary doubts."

Produced under the banner of Screen Scene Media, the movie Saani Kaayidham will be screened worldwide exclusively on May 6 on Prime Video. The film will be released in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu (under the name Chinni).

The 8th Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year on May 15 and 22 at the Island Ground in Chennai Island from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
