Simbu-Gautham-Rahman combo

The trio of AR Rahman, Simbu and Gautham Menon was announced last year. The film was originally titled 'Nadhigalile Neeradum Suriyan'. But then they retitled it as, "Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu". The film is produced by Ishari Ganesh under the banner Vels Film International.

Shooting.

Poet Thamara, who usually writes songs for Gautham Menon's films, has been contacted as the lyricist for the film. Rajiv Nair is the art director and Uthara Menon, Gautam Menon's sister, is the costume designer. Siddhartha Nuni does the cinematography. Writer Jayamohan has written the story. The first phase of shooting for the film started a few months ago in Thiruchendur. Then the next phase of shooting took place in Chennai. Filming has been going on in full swing in Mumbai since then.

Debut Actress

It has been officially announced that Simbu will be paired with Telugu actress Siddhi Idnani from Gujarat. Actress Radhika plays Simbu's mother. Also, Malayalam actor Neeraj Madhav is making his Tamil debut with this film.

The first single

Fans are waiting for the next updates of the film once the shooting is over. An update on the film's first single has just been released. Think Music, which has acquired the audio rights to the film, has announced that "the first single from the highly anticipated VTK film will be released on May 6". With this announcement, Simbu and Siddhi Idnani's lovey-dovey poster was also released. This photo is now going viral on the internet.
