FIRST TIME: POPULAR VILLAIN JOINS HANDS WITH MANI RATNAM IN PONNIYIN SELVAN!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsBased on a popular novel series by Kalki Krishnamurthy on the same name, Ponniyin Selvan is a much-awaited project helmed by Ace Director Mani Ratnam.
Ponniyin Selvan is bankrolled by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies and the film includes the star cast of Aishwarya Rai, Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Sarathkumar, Ashwin Kakumanu, Lal etc.
The film’s script is handled by Mani Ratnam and ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’ fame actor Kumaravel. The camera is cranked by cinematographer Ravi Varman. The first schedule of the movie started shoot on the 12th of December in Bangkok.
Recently, Riyaz Khan in his official facebook page has announced that the actor has joined the shoot locations of Ponniyin Selvan in Bangkok. Also, this will be the first time the actor will be teaming up with the veteran director.
