QUARANTINE RELEASE: PONNIYIN SELVAN STAR ROCKS THE MOHAWK LOOK! - NETIZENS SURPRISED!

He is currently engaged in Mani Ratnam's stellar ensemble project Ponniyin Selvan as one of the key characters. The film is bankrolled by Madras Talkies in association with Lyca Productions and features music by AR Rahman.

Recently, on his Instagram handle, Ashwin shared a picture from when he was entering the 'world cinema phase'  during which he discovered Martin Scorcese's Taxi Driver. In this click, the actor can be seen sporting Robert de Niro's Mohawk look from the film. When I was going through my world cinema phase and discovered #martinscorcese and #taxidriver . As you can see, the films themes of obsession was lost on me but I was in a dark place back then myself.
