The teaser was an instant success among the audience, who enjoyed the electrifying screen presence and the charisma of Rajinikanth.
 

In his recent interaction with the press and media, Rajinikanth revealed that he was delighted with the response for Petta teaser. He said, "The teaser has been well received and I am very happy about it."

When asked if he plays a don in the film, Rajinikanth replied, "I cannot reveal anything at this moment right now."

Rajini was also asked about his next film after Petta, to which he said, "Let Petta release, at first place. Then, we can talk about my next film."
