We all woke up to the sad news of Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja passing away at the young age of 39 due to a cardiac arrest. This not only sent the industry folks but also countless fans into a state of shock.

The fact that the actor passed away before he could even see his kid - his wife Meghana Raj is about four months pregnant - made the whole affair even sadder.

According to TNM, his cremation is set to take place today at 11 am at a farmhouse the family owns. Chiranjeevi was a fairly successful actor who mainly believed in remakes. Four of his films were in the production stage when tragedy struck.

While he was rushed to Sagar Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru, he passed away after having failed to respond to treatment. It has been reported that his swab has been sent for coronavirus testing. It was just sometime back that he had celebrated his second wedding anniversary.
