He was reportedly suffering from a high fever for the past few days and was rushed to the hospital today morning after his health went south where he breathed his last. He is best known for his performance in the Mohanlal starrer 'Chithram.'
Superstar Mohanlal took to social media to pay his tributes to the departed soul.
"Can’t believe that you are no more my little brother, Saran Swarachithra who can forget your innocent performance in Chithram? Rest dear,” wrote Ranjini, who played the female lead in Chithram.
Besides Chithram, Sharan was seen in other films as well and worked as a dubbing artist too. His untimely demise has sent shockwaves into the Malayalam film industry.
