NEETU CHANDRA'S MAITHILI FILM WINS A NATIONAL AWARD

63rd National Awards saw many new talents seizing their stand in the list. One such example would be Mithila Makhan, a Maithili film produced by actress Neetu Chandra, who has also acted in few Tamil films including Yaavarum Nalam, Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai and Aadhi Baghavan.

Nitin Chandra, brother of Neetu Chandra has directed the film and the brother-sister duo is on cloud nine after winning the prestigious award. And the best part is that, Mithila Makhan is the first ever film in the history of Bihar and Jharkhand to win a National Award.

Excited and proud Neetu Chandra says, "Proud Moment. We made history, first time in the history of Bihar."
