Thalapathy 63 is an upcoming film directed by Atlee that has Thalapathy Vijay playing the lead role alongside Nayanthara. Reba Monica John, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Daniel Balaji, Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Anand Raj and others appear in crucial supporting roles.
The film is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh under the banner AGS Entertainment. This is Vijay's third film with Atlee after Theri and Mersal. The film has GK Vishnu as the Director of Photography, and AR Rahman as the music director.
We had earlier reported that Vijay will be playing dual roles of a father and a son. The son's character is named Bigil. Now, sources close to us have informed that Nayanthara's character has been named Angel.
Thalapathy 63 will be releasing for Diwali 2019. The team is shooting at a rapid pace, and the first look might release soon. Vijay's next after this will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the project has been tentatively titled Thalapathy 64. Stay tuned for more updates.
