Aadai is an upcoming film that has Amala Paul playing the lead role. The film is directed by Rathna Kumar, who made a brilliant debut with Meyaadha Maan that had Vaibhav, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Indhuja and Vivek Prasanna in the lead roles.
Aadai has music by Pradeep Kumar and his band Oorka. It has lyrics by Bharath Shankar, cinematography by Vijay Kartik Kannan, editing by Shafique Mohammad Ali, and art direction by Videsh.
The film is produced by Viji Subramaniam under the banner V Studios. The teaser of the film released today, and has been receiving rave reviews since the release. One of the special names to praise the trailer was Thalapathy 64 director Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram fame.
He tweeted: "Flabbergasted👏Congrats @MrRathna machi! I’m waiting 👍"
Rathna was cheeky in his reply, and trolled Lokesh for his choice of words. He replied:

Aadai will be releasing later this year, and it is great to see two upcoming directors of Tamil Cinema share a light hearted moment.
