BREAKING: NADIGAR SANGAM ELECTIONS CONTROVERSY - UNEXPECTED TURN OF EVENTS!

Menawhile, the counting was withheld by the state government as the election was considered to be not conducted fairly. Post which, a special officer, PV Geetha was appointed to oversee the functions of the Sangam.

On January 24th, High Court Judge Kalyanasundaram had announced that the election was invalid and had asked to reconduct it again with a fresh voters list that should be prepared for the election. Dismissing the cases lodged by Nassar, Vishal and Karthi against the government orders, the special officer will continue to supervise the activities of the Nadigar Sangam till the results of the election are announced - this was the initial judgement details.

Now in a surprising turn of events, the court has issued an interim stay for the elections of Nadigar Sangam elections (South Indian Artists Association). A division bench of Justice M Sathyanarayanan and Justice Abdul Quddhose passed the order on an appeal moved by a faction led by actor Vishal, Karti and Nassar challenging the order passed by a single judge of the court on Jan 24th.
